The Mushroomist - Lions Mane Mushroom Tonic [30ml]
Used by practitioners of traditional Chinese medicine for centuries, Lions Mane has attracted the attention of researchers for its neuroprotective and cardioprotective properties. Mushrooms in general have been getting a lot of positive press in the last decade with many varieties now being regarded as super foods, exhibiting an array of health benefits.
Lion’s Mane mushrooms are noted primarily for their nootropic qualities, increasing mental alertness as well as aiding memory function. It stimulates the brain to produce more NGF (nerve growth factor). These neuropeptides are responsible for the growth, maintenance, and proliferation of neurons in the human brain.
Rather than incorporating Lion’s Mane into another coffee, tea or capsule the people at The Mushroomist have gone one step further and used their unique symbiosis of professional mushroom cultivators backed by a medicinal herb extraction laboratory to create a tonic which condenses the strength of Lions Mane into an easy to absorb liquid, with each pipette equivalent to roughly 3 cups of a Lion’s Mane based tea or coffee.
By cultivating, harvesting and extracting the mushrooms themselves, the team at The Mushroomist can maintain control over every part of the production process, which ensures their products contain only the freshest, purest, and strongest sustainably produced extract available.
This extract, stabilised and flavoured with organic maple syrup comes in a 30ml pipette cap bottle which is made from high-quality Miron-glass. Unlike normal glass, this allows only ultraviolet and infrared light to pass through it, and as a result, the active components degenerate much slower and your tonic is kept as potent as possible.
Designed to be used as a dietary supplement, we recommend using 1 pipette of extract daily, and we recommend taking it first thing in the morning for maximum effect. The condensed liquid delivery system allows fast and full absorption with the body using 98% of the extract, as opposed to 40-50% absorption rates for capsules or tablets.
